Shalom Recoletas is an accommodation managed by a contemplative community of nuns whose main dedication is prayer and work for their sustenance. The work they do has a mission: to offer a warm and welcoming refugefor pilgrims who make the Camino de Santiago. The monastery is located in the
heart of Estella-Lizarra. Our home offers a peaceful environment where pilgrims can rest, reflect, and resume the journey with renewed vigour. We sisters understand the physical and emotional demands of the Way and offer a place and time of personal and liturgical prayer, listening, spiritual
support, and a true sense of community to all who walk through our doors. Our mission is to make your trip lighter, more meaningful, and unforgettable. We assure you of our prayers for all those who walk to Santiago, especially those who stay in our monastery.
